Welcome to the School of Veterinary Medicine, UWI
The School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) is the only one in the English-speaking Caribbean offering a complete DVM programme at a single site. The School is equipped with modern teaching and research laboratories, which facilitates practical training, and research projects.

ce which took place from November 4th to the 8th, 2007 in Barbados, West Indies. The conference was hosted by the Barbados Veterinary Association on behalf of the Canada/Caribbean Region of the Commonwealth Veterinary Association and was held at Barbados’ Hilton Hotel. The theme was “Animal Health and Welfare: Continuing Challenges for Veterinarians”.
